I've been thinking a lot about what you said--well, you and Daphne. And I asked Neville about it, as well. You can get mad at me if you want, but as much as you Slytherins like to think us trusting, we Gryffindors have our cynical sides. And I must admit, I was more than a little cynical when two of the Princesses of Slytherin came to ME asking for HELP.

But I've thought it over.

My family is pureblood, too, you know. Or maybe you didn't. Which is yet another thing I find maddening about this stupid war and how it's affecting hogwarts. You probably, if you hadn't switched sides, would have targeted me, for not being one of you, only I am--a Pureblood. Someone whose family lines can be traced probably right into your families. But I don't wear silver and green, so not much hope for me, then, right?

Anyway. I didn't mean to insult you and I wasn't trying to be rude.

But it's true

And you're right--this is ridiculous.

Things have certainly been busy around here.

And strange, for that matter. I can hardly believe how much I've learned in the past few days about things I thought had nothing to do with me.

In other news, my big brother is getting married next weekend. I wonder if I can get a special permit out of school or anything to attend it, what with all the security ad other nonsense.

All right, it's not nonsense, but it certainly seems like it sometimes. I suppose I'm just bored, and I don't enjoy being cooped up.

Sigh.

I'm not sure what to do about tonight, with this meeting. Part of me is scared but the rest...the rest is mildly hopeful. Of what, I'm not sure. [/hex]

On the bright side, my siblings and mum are coming to Hogsmeade in a few weeks for some reason. Maybe I'll see if they can't come and visit.....I mean, I know I'm not allowed off of grounds, but if they came ONTO the grounds? it's worth a shot, at least.

I have reached the point of boredom where even RUNES can't interest me. And that's why I LIKE runes--they're always changing!! No matter what you do to them, pairing them up differently gets you different things each time. They weren't, like everything else (almost) in my life, some huge BORING thing my mother forced on me.

Maybe I'm finally bored of being bored. Hm. Something to think about?

Well. This week should be an interesting one.

Sometimes I wish I HADN'T chosen a profession that would employ ALL of my spare time.

Still trying to finish that potions thing as well.

But Runes are so gorgeous. Beautiful. I just....I like them. There's something about the way they fit together that makes me want to find out what they mean.

Anyway.

I want to go to to the Weasley's party....will I have enough time?
